Lions Dive Hotel
In 1988, at the initiative of the Curaçao Lions Club, this was the first new hotel to be realized on the island for many years. If desired, the 72 rooms can be ventilated naturally by means of moveable wooden shutters on both the corridor and balcony sides.
The choice fell on a traditional Caribbean architectural design varying in height from one to a maximum of three building levels. The design was realized in collaboration with Architectenbureau Broos van Werkhoven.
In 2006, the hotel was expanded on the west side with 30 rooms and 6 apartments. The roofs have wood shingles.
