Residence Cerrito

This residence is renovated by Anko van der Woude. It was originally known as the Brycszka Residence, and was designed in 1951 by architect Ben Smit. The living areas are situated in a U-shape around the patio. During the renovation a number of additions were made that are recognizable by their materials and color. The bedrooms are now separated from the patio by a corridor with floor-to-ceiling aluminum louvers. The patio has a coral stone floor and there is an additional parking area next to the garage. The old house is painted in its original color, and the new components are Indigo blue and dark Brazil red.
